- 0zemp2c 3y agoPowell is already the most powerful man in the world and is about to get even more powerful the FDIC fund is around $100 billion...the amount of deposits it is expected to cover is $14 trillion the Fed will end up taking over the FDIC; the Fed's printing press is the only real backstop for even 10% of what Americans think the FDIC will "insure" I hope Jerome Powell will be a benevolent dictator....
