How is parental education going for "don't do drugs" or "don't commit crimes"?

  Generally pretty well considering that those who you describe are a small subset of society. Though plenty of news networks would like to convince you otherwise because scare stories attract viewers more than “society is generally doing ok” style stories. I do take issues with the drug laws in a lot of countries though. They are, in part, based around marginalising individuals rather than protecting people from harm. But this is a whole other discussion.
