Two decades ago we moved to new Zealand and the apartment my mom had rented (sight unseen since we were moving from the us) was unlivable with bugs and garbage literring the house. Can confirm that new Zealand has this problem
- henearkr 3y agoAlways visit before renting, to see it but also to hear it (in particular traffic noise level). (Book a cheap hotel if you need for the first weeks. Make sure your belongings arrive by the slow route (e.g. by sea) and are re-routable when you know your definitive address.)
