Any fortune 100 company can be expected to hedge their bets and secure plausible deniability.
- kneebonian 3y agoThis seems like poor reasoning. "They gave money to and worked with a different organization that happens to oppose right to repair therefore they are against right to repair." CompTIA does lots of things that aren't lobbying.
- tourmalinetaco 3y agoI really don’t see how its difficult to believe a multi-billion dollar company wouldn’t support both sides of an issue, then claim they were on the “right side” when the smoke clears. In fact that’s a standard strategy amongst political paypigs. Openly support one set of candidates then sneak equal funds to the other side, so regardless of what happens your interests are secured.
