Also the mapping from ‘awkwardness’ to ‘looks like bribery’ seems assumed and not justified.
- mukti 4y agoTo me, if you compare an interaction with friends as feeling like bribery, I question the friendship a bit. Maybe its just me, but spending money/time/whatever in any way with/for friends shouldn't feel that way..
- nibbleshifter 4y agoYeah, if there's such a feeling in what should be a normal interaction, I'd question the friendship
