And change your oil (engine and transmission) often - it's much cheaper than an engine.
A decent 2017 CRV should be around 17k, and if you are just a touch careful, you shouldn't need to do anything expensive to it for a solid 250 000km. Same with an Accord or a Civic!
- runjake 4y agoWhere are you located where 2017 CR-Vs go for $7k in a presumably driveable condition? A fairly serious question as I'd probably pick up a 2017 CR-V if it were in decent condition and $7k. A used, low-end 2017 CR-V LX (low end model) goes for about $20k here in the PNW and often higher.
