Unfortunately economic incentives are still the driving force -- not some high moral sense. The pieces now have value for the origin countries, ironically, BECAUSE THEY WERE STOLEN. So they are using litigation to get them back. The lawyers are getting paid well and eventually, I suspect, most are just resold.
- MichaelZuo 3y agoI think India at least will eventually get everything back, that's been identified at least, due to political circumstances.
