- rektide 3y agoI'm excited for the Mazda MX-30 R-EV, which has a small rotary range extender. Full series range extender hydrids always seemed like a good middle path. I'm trying to better get comfortable with full EV as the real plan, save a ton of space, complexity, and pollution, but it still feels so compelling having an ultra high efficiency small generator built into an EV. I used to do car camping a lot, and it made extra sense there. Trying to convince myself the mini generator can go.
