it may have technically been a resignation. you know; that old political game...
the interviews show that everyone that knew and worked with him thought he resigned. only when they interviewed jobs did HE say he was fired.
- yardie 15y agoAccording to Sculley, he was quite sincere that he wanted Jobs to run the advanced research division. He interpreted it as a demotion, quit, then told the interviewers he was fired.
- shimon_e 15y agoSo, it makes sense that he actually quit and then distorted the story to make himself look more special.
