My biggest problem with Mastodon is I'm not really getting good casual interactions. I thought it would be more "open" and free flowing conversation, but its largely been this loud echo chamber of opinions and organic discussion of different things hasn't really materialized the way I hoped (this is, in fact, something I do get out of current Twitter, believe it or not) I have tried interacting with different instances and what not, going more niche community hasn't materialized very well, traction is really low
