The article could be summarize as "Tesla used airbag deployment rate as accident rate. Airbags are mostly deployed in highway accidents so this is not a good metric. Tesla should release the raw data. FSD is bad."
So many words for nothing we don't already know about.
Also a bit ironic that the picture the author chose for highlighting FSD crashes didn't happen on a freeway.
- lern_too_spel 3y agoThe big deal about FSD is that unlike autopilot, it isn't restricted to freeways, so the picture makes sense. Your summary is missing many important details.
- bradtemp 3y agoIf you read the press yesterday you would see that the large majority of articles took Tesla's report at face value, so it needed much more explaining than you imagine.
