- streakfix 4y agoIf you can't tell if your friends are harassing you, or messing with you in a playful way, does it really matter?
- mattstir 4y agoWhat's the point of paying 65% more per month for the 1080p plan if you're just going to receive 720p anyway? Do you enjoy wasting money?
- aembleton 4y agoNo, but I wouldn't pay 65% more unless I could actually tell the difference. I could probably tell the difference between 1080p and 720 on my laptop, but I doubt I could tell between 4k and 1080p so I wouldn't pay for that.

- DesiLurker 4y agothats the thing, you can actually tell but for adaptive streaming its harder to be definitive. Also content resolution becomes secondary when you are neck deep in show & storyline. that does not means its insignificant, just that its effects are subtle. In fact, this is so much more true for HDR vs non HDR. Source: I've done a lot of HDR processing development for a leading media company.
