Very much so. I find myself wanting to pay for software. Once if it's just one major version, sub if there are indeed online up and running costs. But it has become so difficult to find honest solutions I just return to foss projects and donate some money. Sometimes this isn't ideal, and then I go through the process again. It's baffling. There are some good companies out there ofc, and I do hope they continue doing the right thing.
