Ok - I signed up. but a couple of questions and a rant
1. is it a phone based thing? I am guessing but I cannot tell
2. is it stored somewhere else or do I just keep control?
And. Rant. I just feel exploded into many shards - there is email (good luck controlling that - I used to have some search and control when it was all on my laptop but who manages email on their laptop anymore?). But there is whatsapp and sms / imessage / we are on the facebook group
I am not sure where I am going with this - I think that todo lists aren't the problem - it's "what have I missed" lists as well as "what am I obliged / required to be doing" as well as the finally arrived at "what essential things do I conciously choose"
It's nice to get to the "conciously choose" but that always feels like I am waiting for the other shoe to drop because I am not sure what has been missed - so yeah - I want to comciously know what I am conciously not doing.
A DoNotDo list just to keep me unstressed ?
But much kudos to you for actually building a product and launching - fantastic I hope it goes to the moon :-)
- kyoteap 4y agoAh, thanks a ton! <3 1. Its a web app primarily. Its a progressive web app, so you can use it on your phone as well. I'm on iOS and my partner is on Android and both work well so far. :) 2. Its stored on a central database with DigitalOcean. I do like the idea of being able to store it locally on a phone. But I haven't built that yet. I totally get your rant. I guess there will always be things that we miss or skip or forget doing. For me its important that I don't get stressed over the DoNoDo list, because there is always going to be something and more. Instead, I focus on what I do end up doing. At the end of the day, I look back at my list and feel pretty good about it, because a year ago I wouldn't have been able to do as much. Its been a process to get here, but I'm quite happy that I did. :)
- lifeisstillgood 4y agoAha. Optimism! :-) thank you. and good luck with the project. Look forward to trying it out
