My Friheten sleeping couch has been through three complete disassembly processes, has been my daily couch for about three years (then relegated to a guest bedroom) and has been used as bed a few dozen times, but it’s still pristine. Plenty of other IKEA furniture has been through three movings too and it’s still good. How you treat your stuff and how carefully you (dis)assemble it matters a lot.
