Wait what’s the difference between this and npx killport?
- klysm 4y agoI would consider npm installing a huge difference to a static binary
- silverwind 4y agoI consider it an advantage because you get a version-locked dependency on the tool that is easily updated along your other dependencies.
- tyingq 4y agoIf it's "npx kill-port", it does seem to spawn quite a lot of separate processes to get the job done (lsof, grep, awk, xargs, kill). So perhaps this is more efficient, though it seems to have it's own issues from reading the other comments. If it's "npx killport", it seems to not work on Windows.
