Choosing the optimal index with limited information
- andi8647 4y agoWe've been grappling with the challenge of selecting the optimal index when working with limited information. It's tough to cover all cases, as we don't know which property values will be used during querying. However, we've discovered that an estimation approach, which involves averaging group size and measuring similarity with a uniform distribution, has worked exceptionally well in most cases when using Memgraph. If anyone has ideas or suggestions for quantifying the quality of a list containing vertices of interest, I'd be more than happy to hear them!
