This is such a hilariously stereotypical HN comment: "Tech is inherently superior to stupid luxury products. Why do people even buy those? We make useful things!" Another view would be that LVMH make products that people (maybe not SWEs) actually desire. Apart from Apple and Tesla most US tech giants just offer services that people use because they have to, or for mindless entertainment.
