And not that I’ve often had terrible managers and worked in stressful, toxic workplaces with self-serving co-workers, in work cultures that did not allow collaboration or mentoring to take place, and even wound up with PTSD? My conclusion is different: that OP read about someone being bullied and did what so many people do, and concluded: "it must be your fault."
