The University of California is using graduating high school as a proxy for race
- epakai 4y agoI don't see how this is different than before. They discuss the changes in 2020, but I'm only finding two things that happened then. - Prop 16 failed, but this maintained the status quo (keeping proposition 209 in place) - UC stopped requiring SAT/ACT scores for admissions It was already part of the analysis on Prop 16 [0] that universities had been using the student's high school and residence location for making these decisions as a result of prop 209. What's new about this particular analysis that reiterates that fact with some newer statistics?
