To me the bigger thing is having to jump through hoops to cancel subscriptions, as is often the case for subscriptions outside of the App Store. There should be regulations requiring that cancelling subscriptions be as easy as starting them is, with a readily visible button on each platform the service is available for that cancels with a single click and no further fuss. There should never be a need to hunt down an obscure link or worse.
