Jinx: Enchanted Spell Checker (Package for Emacs)
- ashton314 4y agoI use almost all of minad's packages: Vertico, Consult, Marginalia, Corfu, and now Jinx. I have `jinx-correct` bound to `C-;` (previously bound to `flyspell-correct` for when I used to use flyspell) and I find myself hitting that key when typing in a web form. (Like now!) The UX is so nice: no need to reach for a mouse to correct a word.
- ParetoOptimal 4y agoYou might also try cape! Hm, I might have to bind it to something else but for now I'm just using M-$ from copy-pasting the use-package example from the jinx readme :)
- ashton314 3y agoAh, yes, cape is wonderful. I use cape extensively and have used `cape-super-capf` to great effect in some situations. Love it.
- ParetoOptimal 4y agoCoincidentally... I just installed this today! It is very fast, light, and I love how it's efficient by only checking words visible in the buffer. Plus with vertico indexed you can just hit a number to choose the spelling correction.
