I am a little confused. Is this a compiler for an old C++ version, like 1.0 or is it a complete reworking to better match C syntax? I have only used C++ 17 and up, and am unfamiliar with older versions.
- salgernon 3y agoI saw this mentioned in the submission about memory allocators and unix, although it’s only tangentially related to that. It’s more about choosing which parts of c++ are either mature enough or useful enough for any particular task. But like any religion, there are indulgences available when it makes sense. (Eg, the occasional template)
