They seem to have a long way to go. Walls and roofs are dirt cheap to build in the conventional way. The big money is spent on kitchens and master bathrooms.

They seem to have a long way to go. Walls and roofs are dirt cheap to build in the conventional way. The big money is spent on kitchens and master bathrooms. Now if there are headed toward dirt cheap shelter for the homeless, that might be a lot more practical. But, I can't see it as a mainstream option unless America is willing to accept a massive change in from current practice and accept a utilitarian standard.
