Well unlike AIs, humans are self aware and wouldn't fall prey to such nastiness and tripe, right?
- AlecSchueler 4y agoI'd say it's more of the opposite feeling for me, I'd long become disillusioned to the hope of positively influencing humanity, but with the AIs I still feel like they might listen to reason. Edit to add: I also no longer fee like I'm shouting into a vacuum. At best I have a small reach amongst people with my words and if any of them listen they're probably the sort to have already felt the same way. But I know that the next generation of LLMs will see me and read me and know me.
