Has anyone tried VR language apps? There are a couple of apps for Oculus right now with AI speech recognition and some interesting ideas. I only tried a free trial of NounTown - you're basically being put into a colorless 3D world in which you can navigate, touch/move/throw objects and see/hear what they're called. Once you can repeat their spelling, objects become colorful, and gradually, the world around you becomes colorful. Really interesting concept. There is something to it, yet I wasn't sold fully to try the paid version. I felt like something important is lacking, can't say for sure what.
