Hm... this would be pretty exploit that companies are using. Also pretty evil - but I can totally see this happening. There should probably be laws that prohibit companies, in particular startups, from making un-remunerated use of any ideas that are submitted in an application process, unless the applicant gets a job offer. Even if in practice this would be very hard to prove...
The project involved a new methodology of evaluating LLMs, which I think had impact. Perhaps this indeed got stolen, but we'll never know I think.
- genezeta 3y agoIt doesn't necessarily mean it's evil. I mean, they could hire people to work on the idea they present. I don't know. But, yeah, it's unlikely you'll ever know.
