The Archer Midnight eVTOL aircraft will complete the route in about 10 minutes; according to local resident and Ars Managing Editor Eric Bangeman, that journey by car can take over an hour due to road construction. I'm much more interested to know if they have some kind of more flexible boarding + take-off slots negotiated so that the 10 minute flight isn't 1.5 hours net after waiting. If it's the same procedures as for a normal flight, I'd probably just take the taxi. Short commercial flights are typically a tough sell because of all the waiting overhead.
