Duolingo is a bad app. It makes you think that you're doing progress with satisfying rewards, while actually you don't do a lot with it. Forget about this and do it the traditional way: get Anki, learn grammar, practice, and you'll get better results. "Gamification" and other ways that try to not frustrate people in general, sugarcoating everything as if it was possible to go through life without any hardship, are really the worst thing of our decade IMO.
