Framework’s Chromebook
- josephcsible 3y agoWhy would you ever buy this rather than buying a regular Framework and putting ChromeOS Flex on it? Is there any difference, other than this one not giving you the ability to run other operating systems later?
- hollerith 3y agoFlex comes with the warning that it lacks a lot of the verified-boot stuff that Chromebooks have. Even if some OS providers and computer makers are interested in verified boot for bad reasons, it remains true that verified boot provides a big chunk of the attack-resistance available to computer users.
