If we play a game of monopoly and I get collect $200 for the first 20 rounds when I pass go and you get to collect $20 and I bought up 90% of the property. Then the rules change and now our kids are going to play both get to collect $200 but they get to keep what we gave them. And if your kid is lucky he/she may even win one out of 100 games. The doesn't mean the game isn't still rigged against your kid.
We can argue about whether we should fix the rigged game or how to fix it but don't act like it's not rigged because we "fixed" the rules.
