  That is not as low as the Zip Recruiter number, but it's not an especially credible figure. In fairness, the Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers are, while higher than what you shared, a lot lower than what I anticipated. https://www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes111011.htm https://www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes111011.htm Salary.com offers a median number over four times higher than the BLS, more in line with what I anticipated. I expect the job is defined rather differently between the two organizations, and Salary.com probably filters somehow to account for tens of millions of home businesses with "chief executives."
