Photo of Starship launchpad destruction
- Zigurd 3y agoFor a couple years now,I have been interested in the way Starship has been developed. SpaceX are borrowing some project management patterns from Agile. I wonder if that will turn out to be a benefit, or an illustration of why you shouldn't try to turn every project into an Agile-like iteration toward a goal. The main problem with that approach, at this stage of development, is that iterations get longer and more expensive. Blowing up the foundations of the launch mount and dropping debris 6 miles away is a hell of an add to the backlog, and the FAA will want to do a "code review" before you get to deploy.
