GoCardless (YC S11) is looking for engineers and designers in London

GoCardless is transforming online payments. We are a 5 person team based in London UK, funded by world-class investors including Accel Partners & Passion Capital. We are looking for talented engineers and designers to help us create the next generation of online payments. For developers: You will be working on challenges ranging from building deep integration into the next generation of banking systems, to figuring out how best to risk assess new customers in a scalable manner. We are built in Ruby on Rails. However, we care more about your experience with dynamic OOP languages and modern web frameworks than specific experience of our stack. Ideal candidates will; - Be passionate about building new things - show us an interesting personal or open-source project to which you've contributed - Have strong CS fundamentals gained through a Computer Science degree or significant professional development experience For designers: We are looking for a talented designer to help us shape our brand and service. You will be helping us to solve varied design challenges, from figuring out the right UI for complicated transaction flows, to building dashboards to display complex information in an intelligible way.
