- illiarian 3y agoThat is the same level of advice as "humans need to learn how to fly". You not only have to change planning, you also need to change all the existing cities to accomodate that planning
- carapace 3y agoMost cities predate the invention of the automobile.
- illiarian 3y agoThe cores of the cities, yes. And those cores are tiny. There are a few exceptions like London (7 million in the 19th century, 9 million now), but most cities are not London.
- agentultra 3y agoAnd we can do that if the will to do it was there. I suspect those that benefit the most from the subsidies that support their life styles will have the most to complain about.
