Florida’s Corkscrew Swamp
- pvaldes 4y ago> Florida’s name comes from ‘la flor’ ‘the flower, And more precisely it means ‘In flor’ (blooming)
- brk 4y agoDid the headline get edited? On TFA it reads ‘The REAL Magic Kingdom’, which definitely conveys a much different concept than the version here which omits ‘real’.
- maxwell 4y agoYeah they automatically strip "real" from headlines... Agreed it's a poor choice that creates confusion. Thinking this wasn't a pg decision, e.g. http://www.paulgraham.com/real.html http://www.paulgraham.com/real.html
- ajdude 4y agoI'm curious about this too
- dang 4y agoProbably better to just cut that whole bit. I've done so now.
- dylan604 4y agoThe first embedded video has a bird airing its wings which reminds me of a bird that hangs out at the lake I bike around. I don't know if it is the same bird or not, but it stands on a stump and does the same thing. Every time I see, I wonder if it's standing there thinking to itself "I'm king of the world!!". The animal kingdom cracks me up, and I'm happy I get to spend time in my area enjoying it.
- vibrolax 4y agoIt's an anhinga. Their feathers are not oiled, so they get wet in the water. They have to air dry their feathers.
- quickthrower2 4y agoThat fixed header eats 40% of my phone screen realestate.
