https://tsqlt.org/ https://tsqlt.org/ Not making an argument for, or against stored procedures, but just putting this link here as seeing quite a few comments regarding difficulty testing stored procs. It was a fair number of years ago, working on an enterprise data warehouse, but the linked testing library was a bit of a revelation when testing SQLServer stored procs. Basically made unit testing stored procs straightforwards and natural. Haven't used it since, but hopefully helpful for someone, and I do wonder if there are similar testing frameworks for other DBs?
