This might be some run-of-the-mill weirdness, but I was using a Microsoft file globbing library recently (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.extensions.filesystemglobbing?view=dotnet-plat-ext-7.0 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.exten...) and it handed back filepaths with forward slashes (instead of double-backslash), even on Windows (and in .Net Framework). I don't know if this is a library someone developed for .Net Core and forgot that it also was going to be used in .Net Framework? Anyways, another reason I don't like the occasional dip into Windows I have to do at my job (which is 80% mac/linux).
