- hnburnsy 3y agoWhat is better for kids, living in a cramped apartment attending NYC public schools or a larger single family home in a good school district in Texas?
- govolckurself 3y agoHaving been, myself, relentlessly bullied by closed-minded bigots, I can confidently say that getting away from environments like that is priceless.
- questime 3y agoLooks like there is a price - otherwise people wouldn't be moving here in droves. Also Houston being full of close minded bigots is hilarious to me, it's far more racially integrated than NYC. You seem to be the one that's a bigot
- govolckurself 3y agoI expect better from Hacker News. Oh well.
- juve1996 3y agoDo you think bullying doesn't exist in New York City?

- mdanger007 3y agoBig difference between kid bullies and government bullies. You're almost guaranteed to be a school bully victim when your governor is going after Mini Mouse for wearing a rainbow skirt.

- juve1996 3y agoAnd yet, real people, with a wide variety of views, still live in these places. They can't just hop off to <insert favorable political city here> whenever they want and virtue signal like rich SWEs on here. There are plenty of people in Texas that believe the same thing about those kids, and they are there, fighting for them.
