Renewed HGST 14 TiB drives are available for $120 USD now
RAID-10 and good return policies of merchant platforms are your friend.
- sergiotapia 4y agoWhere? I would like two of these for my media server.
- The_SamminAter 4y agoLikewise.
- adastra22 4y agoWarning: seagate 14TB drives are notorious for spontaneous data failure.
- batmaniam 4y agoGood info, but just double checking... HGST is different than Seagate drives right? Or did Seagate buy HGST and now they are crap too?
- adastra22 4y agoYes they’re different. I’m dyslexic. I would still check that there isn’t some white label arrangement going on here, or the same factories involved, to be sure.
