- RhodesianHunter 3y ago1. The flu doesn't kill as many as COVID did 2. The flu is a known, covid was a near complete unknown. It's easy in hindsight to say that we shouldn't have locked down, but if the thing had mutated and wiped out half the planet, you'd be singing a different tune.
