Yes the recording bit seems out of the question.
However, the issue where one feels the need to write EVERYTHING down is a real one and I have been guilty of that and have missed active minded in the meeting bringing a false impression to the other party.
However, a keyword based approach seems less distracting so going down that road for now.

- dingosity 3y agoI am always willing to share my wisdom, such that it is. ;-) I truly believe you'll come up with a better system... please post about it somewhere. I LOVE reading about how people improve "standard practices" to fit their local requirements. Even if I disagree, I have to sit an think about it to try and figure out WHY I disagree (and then sometimes I realize I misunderstood what was said.)
