gorilla glass is more like materials science than high energy particle physics.
- saiya-jin 4y agoYeah but if you dig deeper you realize material science on itself would be rather medieval alchemy if not for all underlying knowledge coming also from particle physics. Now there isn't a clean 2-step line if-boson-then-gorilla, but knowledge spreads and fills the gaps otherwise filled with just question marks.
- LegitShady 4y agoWell it's all quantum mechanics and so are we, except maybe gravity, so looking at things that way isn't a helpful way to classify reality.
