40% of meat products test positive for antibiotic-resistant superbugs

  Perhaps another reason to eat less (or no) meat. Did they test vegetables and other foods? My guess is the drug-resistant e. coli are more likely to be found in meat (due to slaughtering processes, and overuse of antibiotics) but sometimes vegetables, fruit, etc. can be tainted as well.

    Usually by comming into contact with meat
