I think it may be naive that people believe that the deciding factor on how these things are used is likely to be "chip speed." or "efficiency on the machine." I wish we were in that world; but it more likely seems like it would be "Which company jumps ahead quickest to get mindshare on a popular AI related thing, and then is able to ride scale to dominate the space?" REALLY hope I end up being wrong here; the fact that so many models are already out there does give me some hope.
