It's going to get me there. It's going to keep running. It's not going to leave me stranded someplace.
I like adventure, so I keep buying 15 year old German cars.
What code will it throw today? Will it start? Will it run? Will something important fall off? Why are there electronics burning in the dash?
- tetris11 4y agoIf you have endless money to throw down a hole for the sake of adventure, then I recommend getting into antiquing. It's fun, and it will destroy you.
- pengaru 4y agoEveryone knows a sailboat is a hole in the water you pour money into.
- to11mtm 4y ago> 15 year old German cars That's a masochistic trait if I ever saw one.
- tobias2014 4y agoGerman cars not built in Germany, at least that's what I've heard about it.
- doubled112 4y agoI've kept my wife (and therefore kids) in something else all the years I've been driving. At least I'm enjoying myself by myself. If I have to push the car into a ditch and Uber, I will.
- owenmarshall 4y ago> I like adventure, so I keep buying 15 year old German cars. I want to capture this feeling again - my Civic just works, but my old Saab was just way more fun. Of course, the Swedish electrical gremlins weren’t fun, and parts availability is even worse, but there are now effective clones for some of the proprietary tools and security systems and more information on DIYing for these cars than I could’ve ever dreamed of when I sold it…
