Is that irony really just a defining characteristic of gezellig? Thinking of 'leuk', or 'lekker dan', 'joepie', 'mooi is dat', and probably many others, or in English 'great', 'just perfect'.
- Scarblac 3y agoNo, it's used non ironically too. Nice that you mention "lekker", that means something like "tasty" or "nice" but it can also ooze sarcasm and be used to turn just about anything into a sneer.
