Sometimes you can tell that you’re offline. Sometimes you can tell that you’re online. The real trouble is when you have an unreliable connection. That’s the worst of all available worlds, when systems fall apart in a wide variety of troublesome ways.
- genewitch 4y agooh, like my starlink. I can't use it for VoWiFi, because it drops for a couple seconds every minute. So i use it to download, only. It also works for any VoD streaming service (youtube, netflix, etc), but will not work for live streams. Can't use it for gaming, then again with CGNAT on my main ISP i can't use it for gaming really, either. However stuff like matrix works fine on starlink, because it will eventually be able to phone home and do all of the queued transfers, and that's fine.
