My nowhere Alma Mater (a state school) has been building new buildings nonstop and tearing down affordable student housing to replace it with student housing that costs at least double. They allow professors to assign books that are bundled with homework software licenses that only work for a month (you have to buy the book to get the code, you can't get a used book and new software). And tuition continues to climb as well. They are also introducing graduate and PhD programs which they do not have professors qualified to teach because graduate students will pay more than undergrads will.
