Are nutrition labels useful in food deserts?

  Thank goodness there is a wide variety of choices in food desserts. But I have never seen a nutritional label at a donut shop.

    In case you're not being facetious (hard to tell over the Internet and all), food deserts is a term referring to "an urban area in which it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality fresh food". Additionally, the FDA now requires nutritional and allergen info to be provided for restaurants, though it is sufficient to make them available online.
